Katie Cleary is an actress, producer, philanthropist, and filmmaker. Katie got her start in entertainment on the TV show ‘America’s Next Top Model’ and has had an expansive career in the entertainment business spanning over two decades. Katie is the founder & creator of the news network ‘World Animal News,’ which covers the latest breaking animal, environmental, and plant-based news from around the world. She is also the president & founder of the animal welfare organization ‘Peace 4 Animals,’ which works on some of the most critical animal welfare issues worldwide. Her foundation helps to pass important legislation on a state and federal level with a focus on saving endangered species. Katie produced and wrote the award-winning documentary ‘Give Me Shelter’ that premiered on Netflix in 2015, and just finished directing her second documentary ‘Why On Earth,’ featuring Clint Eastwood. The documentary was filmed in Africa, Indonesia, Mexico, and the U.S., and follows the work of some of the most influential people at the forefront of the animal welfare movement.
Katie’s goal is to impact people around the world with her films and philanthropic work, creating positive change to protect our planet and its precious species.
