Director Biography – Anny Tubbs
Anny is a Brussels-based documentary filmmaker. While initially working as a lawyer for 25 years, she enjoyed collaborating with others to develop creative communications and learning materials. Anny decided to re-train at the London Film Academy in 2019 then set up First Move Productions in 2020 to direct documentary films that highlight the work of individuals whose values and expertise make them a force for good (specifically on environmental and social issues). She is currently completing a Masters on journalism and media in Europe and already works freelance as a multimedia producer for a European news agency.
