The film navigates a future scenario where radical activism has forced a sudden end to oil production. In the wake of the conflict, a new burial practice emerges which reclaims landscapes from the petroleum industry.
As we move toward a world divested from oil, the film presents a hopeful perspective on what we might gain in the process. What are we willing to sacrifice? What would we miss? And what would we find if we let go of attachments?
