The Platanista Gangetica or Ganges Dolphin, is one of the last few species of freshwater dolphins in the world. Today, faced with an increasingly hostile environment, it is on the brink of extinction : There are only a few of these unique aquatic mammals left, scattered across the valleys of South Asia. How have these individuals survived today? To better understand these dolphins and find solutions, Shambhu Paudel, biologist from the University of Arizona, accompanies us to meet this species, which has never before been filmed in Nepal.
