 Yolanda Papini-Pollock

Yolanda Papini-Pollock has dedicated her career to raising awareness of human rights violations and promoting action for a better future. With personal roots in a community of refugees in Israel and as the child of a Holocaust survivor and refugee, she has been sensitized to the suffering of the persecuted from a young age. Her work as a human rights filmmaker, including the popular documentaries Never Again: A Broken Promise, Get Over It: A Path to Healing, Painful Truth: The Falun Gong Genocide, and # FixIt: Tikkun Olam, seeks to inform and empower audiences to take action against prejudice, hatred, and injustice. Her films document past and present genocides and persecutions, and demonstrate that the promise of “never again” remains unfulfilled. Through her powerful and compelling films, Papini-Pollock reminds us that human suffering anywhere concerns men and women everywhere, and urges us to work towards a better, more just future.
