First time Pakistani filmmaker Mohammad Fawad directs and edits his first film which explores the harrowing journey made by his friend, Asif, who was trafficked through Iran and Turkey in an illegal attempt to reach Europe and Berlin. Fawad widens his exploration to learn more about attempts to reach Europe by disaffected Pakistani youth and Afghani LGBTQ+ community fleeing the Taliban.

Director Biography – Muhammad Fawad
Fawad is a film enthusiast and an experienced media professional based in Peshawar Pakistan. He holds a postgraduate degree in Development Studies. Currently working as a Digital Media Officer at Gallup Pakistan, he has previously served as a media and communication consultant for several local and international organizations. He has initiated a local new media project called Khyber Talkies, which focuses on political, social, cultural, and artistic topics. Muhammad Fawad has a strong interest in Pashtun Afghan art and culture, as well as issues related to politics, society and culture.
