Director Biography – Davide Lemmi, Sara Manisera
Sara Manisera is a journalist, director and author. She works between the Middle East and Italy covering women, conflict, environment, civil society and agriculture. Her work has been published by the most important international media including Al Jazeera, Libération, Courrier International, ARTE, RAI, CNN, Internazionale and Repubblica. She wrote and co-directed the documentary “Iraq: youth on the frontline” (2019), the webdocumentary “Women out of the darkness” with which she won the Golden Dove for Peace and “Iraq without water”, the story of Iraqi environmentalists and their struggle to protect the right to water.
