Director Biography – Adam Bourne

Adam Bourne (1989-present) was born in Windsor, England and attended the Royal Grammar School near London. Bourne then moved north and graduated in 2011 with a degree in Music Technology from Leeds Metropolitan University.

Following this Bourne worked at Pinewood Studios as a sound editor on some of Hollywood’s biggest productions, including the Oscar-winning Bohemian Rhapsody and Klaus. After several years in the sound department, Bourne transitioned into picture editorial, working on Disney’s The Little Mermaid.

Bourne’s love of wildlife and the outdoors led him on many trips to North American national parks, before he finally moved to Canada in 2021 to study advanced filmmaking. This inspired him to write a story about how beavers are one of natures great protectors against the increasing threat of wildfires globally.
