The film accompanies five men who fled from West Africa after their arrival in Italy. After years of odysseys, the protagonists suddenly find themselves in a vacuum of waiting, reflecting on the time they live in and the time that lies ahead.
Director Biography – Nina Stefanka
Nina Stefanka was born in Zurich in 1978 and attended the Liceo Artistico in Zurich, spent a school year in Johannesburg, South Africa. Afterwards she studied documentary film at the Academy of Media Arts in Cologne/Germany. She worked and lived in Cairo as a lecturer at the German University and lived in Italy for her researches. Today she works and lives in Zurich and Locarno/Switzerland
