ER doctor James Kahn has written numerous novels and novelizations, including Return of the Jedi and The Goonies. He went on to become a television writer-producer for Melrose Place and Star Trek: Voyager, among others. More recently he’s been focusing on his music, having released 5 CDs of Americana, folk and blues, as well as several music videos.
