Director Biography – Anne Ciecko

Anne Ciecko is a U.S.-based maker, writer, and educator. Born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, she currently lives and works in Amherst, Massachusetts, with grateful acknowledgement of these locations on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded homelands of the Lenape, Pocumtuck, and Nonotuck peoples. Her poetry films and short experimental works have received official selection at festivals in Australia, Bangladesh, Canada, Cyprus, England, France, Greece, India, Ireland, Italy, Portugal, Serbia, Slovakia, Spain, Turkey, Ukraine, the United States, and Wales.
