Director Biography – Angelo Loy, Martino Mazzonis
Angelo Loy is a freelance director who’s is trying to combine his desire to meet people around the world with the idea of sensitizing audiences on issues of social justice. He’s been directing feature and medium length documentaries since 2005 (Black Pinocchio, An Italian School, The Unbeliever, Commonplaces, Tropic of Chaos) and participatory films with African children (TV Slum, African Spelling Book, Millennium News) for national and international broadcasters (RAI, ARTE, Nat Geo World, SVT, ZDF 3sat, Current TV and others).
