The film tells a story set in an unknown world. A group of homeless people move through a bleak, alienating landscape, hoping they will find a home somewhere. When time passes by, all life seeps out of them because they are not welcome anywhere. As they approach the end of the world and contemplate the universe , they decide to leave the planet.

Director Biography – Loula Burnus

Loula Burnus (Brussels, 28 March 1998) is a starting Belgian film director, screenwriter and editor. Her films focus on social issues and ecology.
Growing up with a keen interest in dance, music and film, she decided to travel to India for a one-year exchange program after high school. Since then, the love for Indian and Middle Eastern culture has been a fixed value in her work and in her life. During her bachelor of Audiovisual Arts at RITCS (Royal Institute of Theatre, Cinema and Sound), she went on an exchange to Lebanon and made a documentary-fiction about the protests in Lebanon which was also selected at Beirut International Women Film Festival and LIFF. After graduating with magna cum laude in directing fiction at RITCS, she started a master’s program at LUCA School of Arts. She graduated in 2021 with ‘Our Land’, a short film in which different forms of art mingle in an audiovisual play between human and nature.
