Director Biography – Nicolas Van Ingen

Director and photographer specialized in nature and environment since 1983, Nicolas is particularly interested in the relationship between man and nature, in remote areas where nature is still very present. His approach leads him to choose militant subjects, working for a better protection of the planet. Among his latest movies, Oasis of Hope, the story of Tahar-El-Ammari, a Moroccan man toiling in the Saharan sun to bring back to life the oasis where he was born. It was produced by InFocus and Ushuaia TV in 2018 and won the best documentary prize at the Deauville Green Awards.
