Yolanda Papini-Pollock’s transition from a 20-year career in education to a leading human rights filmmaker reflects her deep commitment to confronting and documenting human suffering. Inspired by her personal background as the child of a Holocaust survivor and a refugee, Yolanda has dedicated the past nine years to creating films that highlight the ongoing struggle against oppression.
Her work includes powerful documentaries such as Never Again: A Broken Promise, which draws connections between the Holocaust, Yazidi, Rwandan, and Indigenous genocides, and Painful Truth: The Falun Gong Genocide, which exposes the severe persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in China.
