Born and raised in Bogot\u00e1, Colombia, he discovered early on that film could capture emotions words often cannot. After immigrating to Australia and making Melbourne his home, he found new perspectives that shaped his artistic voice. His work reflects themes close to his heart\u2014identity, belonging, and resilience\u2014often exploring LGBTQIA+ stories, immigration, and cultural diversity.
